SALT LAKE CITY -- A Utah company that specializes in natural bath and body products for a dry climate is asking for help naming its new baby bearded dragon mascot.
Throughout the month of June, Juniper Desert invites visitors to the Downtown Farmer's Market at Pioneer Park on Saturdays, to stop by her booth and drop off a suggestion for a name for the dragon.
Entries may also be submitted via Facebook at www.facebook.com/juniperdesert.
"Living in the desert, we love running, swimming, fishing and waterskiing," said Crystal George, Juniper Desert owner. "But the harsh sun, wind and dry air can really do a number on your hair and skin. That's why I created Juniper Desert's line of skin serums, scrubs and shampoos, to help active people thrive in an arid environment."
Like many Utah residents, bearded dragons are usually found in sunny, dry environments.
The winner will be announced at the July 6 farmers market. The person who suggests the winning name will win a Juniper Desert gift basket including sugar scrub, skin serum and lavendar salve.
