I realize that Gov. Herbert would like to fire Attorney General Swallow and I understand his sentiments; however, why do we have to spend money for another investigation when other agencies are already doing the same thing? I believe I read in the paper that a contract is up for bids for this investigation.
I understand the frustration when it seems, daily, a new allegation is leveled.
The agencies investigating Attorney General Swallow are perfectly suited and paid for already. I've admired Utah for it's money management for years, but the Legislature frequently votes for projects that their legal experts have told them are not going to stand a legal test and this wastes millions of dollars.
This is another waste of money and a duplication of investigations. Let's have faith in the authorities investigating and if we want to spend money, spend it on education where it really would go to good use.
