OGDEN -- A crash at Wall Avenue and Dan Street around 11:30 p.m. Monday led to another crash that sent a car through a fence at an apartment complex
Officers were on their way to the first minor accident when Angelica Solis, 31, lost control of her vehicle and hit a parked car. Her vehicle then swerved into the fence at the Westmont Parkwood Apartments.
Her 4-year-old daughter was also in the vehicle.
Police said Solis was intoxicated, with a blood-alcohol level more than three times the legal limit. Her driver's license had an alcohol restriction.
A bystander, who wished to remain anonymous, said he didn't see the first crash, but he went out to see the aftermath.
He said after other bystanders helped a woman out of a car that was stopped in the northbound lanes of Wall, Solis' vehicle hit that car and spun around for several yards before going through a fence at the apartment complex.
He said a woman had just hollered at her children to go inside, which they did. They had been looking at the initial crash from behind the fence, just before the third car crashed into it.
Neither Solis nor her daughter were seriously injured.
Solis was booked into Weber County Jail on charges of DUI and disobeying the restriction on her license.
