SALT LAKE CITY — The Utah Blaze have been assigned rookie wide receiver DeJay Lester, the franchise announced Thursday. Lester returns to the team after participating in 2013 training camp.
“DeJay was with us during training camp and we’re happy to have him back on our team,” said coach Ron James.
Lester (6-foot-3, 200 pounds), played football and basketball at Layton Christian Academy, before concentrating on football at the University of Wyoming.
Utah also announced it has activated veteran nose guard Keenan Mace from the injured reserve list. Mace started the first nine games of the season.
