Utah entrepreneur recognitions awarded

SALT LAKE CITY — Ernst & Young announces Entrepreneur Of The Year 2013 Award recipients in the Utah Region, which recognizes entrepreneurial excellence in eight categories.
The winner in the top of Utah was Aaron Skonnard, CEO, Pluralsight in Layton.
For 27 years, the award has recognized outstanding high-growth entrepreneurs who demonstrate excellence and extraordinary success in such areas as innovation, financial performance and personal commitment to their businesses and communities.
The finalists and winners were selected by an independent panel of judges and honored at a gala event at The Grand America Hotel, 555 S. Main St., Salt Lake City on June 20.
The eight award recipient companies collectively provided a reported 14,421 jobs at the end of 2012 and generated $2.7 billion of revenue in 2012.
These regional award winners now go on to compete at the national level, competing for titles including the National Entrepreneur Of The Year Overall Award winner, which will be announced at the annual awards gala in Palm Springs, California, on Nov. 16.
