OGDEN -- Utah Department of Transportation is advising motorists that work will begin Monday on a project to rehabilitate the roadway decking of the Interstate 15 bridges over the Bear River near Honeyville.
Beginning Monday and running through mid-October, the I-15 bridge structures over the Bear River will be rehabilitated. Construction will take place in two phases, with approximately three months of construction needed to complete this project.
Traffic will be limited to one lane each direction 24 hours per day, and speed limits will be reduced.
Oversized trucks and loads will bypass the bridges and be routed onto State Road 13 to the west of I-15, using Exit 365 at Corinne on the south, and Exit 376 at Elwood on the north.
To contact the project team regarding specific project issues, email email@example.com, or phone (801) 694-4279.
Oversized loads should call the Perry Port of Entry at 435-734-9414 or the Motor Carriers Division Superloads Group at 801-964-4588 for additional oversized routing instructions.
