PLAIN CITY - The greatest fishing captain of "The Tuna Tub", Gary Joe Hill, 72, left us most unexpectedly for a further boating adventure on Friday, July 12, 2013.
He was born to Leonard and Nellie Hill.
He had too many titles, adventures and interests to mention. Those of you that know Gary shared in most of them.
He is waiting for his lifelong fishing buddy of 53 years, Kae, three children, daughter Jodie (Tom), son Curt, son Shaun (Danette), eight grandchildren, 6 3/4 great-grandchildren, brother, Rod (Arlene), sister Judy (Karl) Parker, and brother (Randy (Katy).
Special thanks to Mark Green, Gary's best friend and boss, his "other" girlfriends Jocine and Kristen, who will always have a very special place in his heart.
A celebration of his life will be held Friday, July 19th at 2 p.m. at Lindquist's Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South.
The family will meet with friends one hour prior to the service at the mortuary.
Open invitation for friends and family for sharing fond memories.
Dad....Thanks for always taking us fishing and NEVER TO DISNEYLAND!!!! We love you.
Condolences may be sent to the family at www.lindquistmortuary.com
