SALT LAKE CITY -- Authorities say two women were arrested in separate incidents after they were found with loaded handguns at Salt Lake City International Airport.
Transportation Safety Administration spokeswoman Lorie Dankers tells the Deseret News (http://bit.ly/15o0z7K ) the first woman faces a possession of a dangerous weapon charge after she was found with a Ruger pistol about 5 a.m. Tuesday.
Dankers says the woman was accompanying a child to a gate but wasn't traveling.
The second woman was accused of carrying a concealed weapon in a sterile area after she was stopped about 8:30 p.m. Tuesday with a KelTec 380 pistol.
The woman had been ticketed to fly to Portland, Ore.
The womens' names weren't made public.
Dankers says the guns were the 23rd and 24th found at the airport this year.
