OGDEN -- Two men are in jail after police discovered they were on their way to sell drugs.
Luis Enrique Castro, 30, and Jesus Ivan Galvez, 40, were pulled over by Ogden police after officers saw the vehicle they were driving had a broken windshield.
They found that the passenger, Galvez, had outstanding warrants for multiple failures to appear in court. Castro was found to be driving without a license.
When officers asked the men to step out of the car, they saw what they thought were packaged drugs the two men were trying to hide.
Based on that, the police conducted a K-9 search of the vehicle, and the dogs had a positive hit on heroin hidden in the car.
After hearing their Miranda rights, the two confessed that they were on their way to sell the drugs, police said.
They were charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute. It is unknown how much the pair was carrying.
The two were also caught within 1,000 feet of a school, which enhanced their charges.
