Glen H. White passed away on July 21, 2013 at his Ogden home surrounded by his family. He was born December 9, 1928 in Susanville, CA to James C. and Afton Hardy White. Glen graduated from BYU. For most of his professional career he worked as a Finance Executive for Phillips 66 Petroleum Co.

Glen was drafted and served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict.

He was a member of the LDS Church and served three years as a missionary in Central America. He also had callings as a High Councilman and as a regional music chairman. He had a passion for missionary work where his greatest love was for the Lord Jesus Christ.

Glen married Barbara Higginbotham August 14, 1953; they were sealed in the Idaho Falls Temple. She passed away August 3, 1968. He married Darlene Hart in the Oakland LDS Temple for time on June 10, 1969.

Glen’s life work was his family. He loved the outdoors where he spent much of his time while growing up. He was an accomplished pianist and vocalist which enhanced his enjoyment of music and the Performing Arts.

He is survived by his wife, Darlene; children, Craig H. White, Jill W. King, Kirk H. White, Roger H. White, John H. White, Brent A. Hart, Todd C. Hart, Jeffrey H. White and Ryan H. White; 21 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and his sister, Barbara A Klepper.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Barbara; brother, Alan and sister, Wilma Jean.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, July 23, 2013 at the Old Post Ward, 5191 Old Post Road, Ogden where a viewing will be held prior to the service from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Interment will be in Shelly, ID at Hill Crest Cemetery.

The family would like to give special thanks to Intermountain Hospice, friends, family and neighbors.
