OGDEN -- Flowrider Utah, Utah's first indoor surfing venue, will welcome the best flowboarders in the nation on Pioneer Days as they make their annual stop in Ogden for the sixth stop of the 2013 USA FLOW Tour.
Defending world champions will convene at the prime stop to battle for a spot on the podium.
Practice sessions will occur today at the Salomon Center. The competition begins Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. More than $5,000 in cash and prizes will be awarded to top competitors in junior, men's, women's, masters and pro divisions.
The competition is open to the public.

Pre registration before Wednesday is encouraged. The competition entry fee is $35 for amateur and $40 for pro and open divisions.
During competition, riders are given three runs. Judges will tally the contestant's two top scores and rank them. Competitors are judged according to criteria of difficulty, execution and overall impression.
The top two riders in a four-man heat will progress to the next round until the finals.
Each competitor's best six results will be totaled to bestow the 2013 season champions in their respective divisions. Throughout the tour, athletes strive to advance to the top ranks and earn their place on the WFC USA team who will advance to the World Flowboarding Championships - FlowRider.
The FLOW tour, which has been heavily refined in the past five years, is sanction by FLOW (Flowboarding League of the World).
