Why would Ann "killer" Coulter Tweet "Hallelujah" the instant the murderer of a 17-year-old black kid is set free with his gun?
Why would the murderer tell a television audience that his killing of the unarmed black kid was "God's plan?"
Why would our local paper's ideologues write and tell me that setting the murderer free with his gun was the right thing to do since he was "overcharged?" (July 17 editorial, "Zimmerman verdict appropriate").
Why do the "law and order" Republicans defend a white murderer of an unarmed black teenager? They hide their obvious bias under the fake sympathy for parents of the murdered kid, while at the same time totally ignoring the effect of releasing the moronic murderer, with his gun, back into society.
I can't decide which outrage to focus on first. Either the initial stupidity and lack of action by the police, the intellectually vacant prosecution, the lying-ass defense team, the "OJ-style" jury nullification, or the celebration of the outcome by the right wing and the immoral vilification of the murdered victim, a 17-year-old teenager who was simply walking home.
Here's something that no one else is saying. The father of the murderer, a retired magistrate (lay judge) in the area, sat stone-faced and confident throughout the trial, even at the moment the jury came back with their nonsensical verdict. I bet the fix was in and in my opinion, he knew it because he made it happen.
The sweaty detective who originally wanted to charge the murderer, and who was demoted for it, testified that he now believes the murderer's story. It was a miraculous turnaround. The creepy-assed white guy, Good, who said he saw the whole thing from his doorway (but did nothing) was, in my opinion, lying through his teeth. Daddy got to him.
The cruel witness impeachment by Don Vader West of the murdered kid's phone friend will forever define lawyers as the most unethical, maniacal, self-serving, narcissistic bunch on the planet. Knock knock. Who's there? Don. Don who? Don you wonder how I can look myself in the mirror?
