I came, I saw, and I sat.
I spent several weeks working on what I called The Patio Project — a story about restaurants with outdoor dining areas — decks, courtyards, sidewalk tables, verandas, whatever you choose to call them.
I drove and walked around Davis, Weber and Morgan counties with an eye out for oversize umbrellas and outdoor tables. And I put away a few calories, too.
My story ran in the July 28 Standard-Examiner — at least, most of it did. I didn’t realize that I inadvertently omitted the last part of the story when I emailed it to my editor.
The article was already pretty long, so perhaps my mistake was for the best. But, I’d like to point out some of the excellent places that you missed in Sunday’s story.
