FARR WEST -- The driver of a semitruck says his seatbelt saved him from being hurt when his rig rolled while he was turning Monday afternoon.
Jared Norman said he was turning left around 1:15 p.m. from 2000 West onto 2700 North, when the load his truck was carrying shifted, rolling the truck. No one was hurt in the accident.
"All I remember is the truck just stopped," he said. "The next thing I remember, the road coming right at me. My seat belt saved my life."
Weber County Sheriff's Deputy Mike Streker said the load appeared to be well-secured. Utah Highway Patrol was conducting the investigation into the accident.
