CLEARFIELD -- A new section of road between Center Street and 1000 West on the extension of State Road 193 in Clearfield is now open to the public.
In conjunction with the opening, 200 South will become a cul-de-sac at 1000 West, and 1000 West at SR-193 will temporarily have a three-way traffic stop until a new traffic signal is installed in late September. As a result, motorists should expect some delays at the intersection and consider alternative routes.
Construction of the extension of SR-193, the Bernard Fisher Highway, has been under way since December. Project completion is scheduled for summer 2014.
