Shawn Gerald Ory, age 42, of Clinton, Utah, passed away August 17, 2013, from an illness.
He born November 19, 1970, in Dugway, Utah, to Roger Joseph Ory, Jr. and Karen Wilkerson Ory. He grew up in Roosevelt, Utah, and graduated from Union High in 1989.
Those who knew Shawn would all agree he had a magnetic personality and he was always fun to be around. As an only child, he learned early on how to entertain himself as well as all his family and friends. As a youth he was a gifted BMX racer and dirt bike rider. He loved working on and riding his Harley Davidson, and always enjoyed taking road trips on his bike. He was a licensed electrician and had a mind that could work on and repair any issue placed before him. He worked as a master electrician at Hill Air Force Base. He really loved his parents Karen and Roger and was especially close to his mother who passed away in 1993. Her passing left a great void in his heart but now he can see her once again. Shawn will be greatly missed.
Shawn is survived by his girlfriend of 3 years, Vimal Rowell, Clinton; father Roger (Brenda) Ory of Layton and grandmother, Helen Wilkerson of Roosevelt.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, August 23, 2013 at 11:00 am at the Roosevelt Memorial Park under the direction of the Hullinger Mortuary. Condolences may be shared at www.hullingermortuary.com
