Concerning watering restrictions, what I can't understand is why high schools are able to water every day and during the day, especially the football fields. Private businesses do their watering during the time we are not supposed to. They also water the sidewalks and streets (hmm, the sidewalk or street will not grow)
Is that because they don't want to pay someone to come and water during the correct times. How come the schools and businesses don't get fined. We hear in our neighborhoods about people getting fines for watering during restrictions. I know that I would like to see an article about high schools or private businesses getting fined for watering during the water restriction times. How about the Standard-Examiner going around and taking pictures of schools and businesses watering during the water restriction times?
