Are we not fortunate to have Weber County commissioners who are so generous to the Summit Mountain Holding Group? A $17 million bond will enable Summit to improve the Powder Mountain Ski Resort ("Aug. 21, "Weber commission Oks bonds"). A new road, water and sewer and other things are going in. All so Summit can gather people like former President Bill Clinton and other famous attendee's for Summit Series.
How many Weber County residents will be attending these summits? How many residents will benefit from this improvement that they are paying for? Many know the road to Power Mountain is steep and treacherous. The Summit Group wants a gravel pit the top of the mountain so the many trucks carrying gravel will not endanger the public. I can't wait for this to happen.
Look out Ogden Valley and Middle Fork. I can't wait for my next tax assessment. Thank you Weber County commissioners. You truly represent the people of Weber County.
