Brigham City library selling discounted books

Thursday , March 06, 2014 - 1:14 PM

The annual used book sale held by the Friends of the Brigham City Library continues through Saturday, Sept. 7, during regular library hours (10 a.m.-9 p.m. Monday-Thursday, and 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Friday and Saturday).

This sale offers discounted prices: $1 for most books and $.50 for small paperbacks. All of the money earned from the sale of these used books, CDs and magazines goes to public library improvements.

The library is closed for maintenance on Friday, Aug. 30, and for Labor Day, Monday, Sept. 2. The sale ends with the $1-a-bag Blowout Sale on Peach Days Saturday, Sept. 7. On that day, the sale begins after the parade ends at noon and runs until 6 p.m. The sale is in the basement of the library at 26 Forest St. in Brigham City near the historical courthouse.
