Regarding the Aug. 19 news story, "Adapting to digital age could leave drive-in theaters in the dark," and "Fate of Motor Vu Drive-In not in doubt with 35-mm film to be thing of the past"). I do not like technology if it's going to shut down drive-in theaters. I see the Motor Vu will stay open, but I've seen other drive-ins disappear. I hated to see the North Star in Harrisville and the Mt. Ogden by the Ogden River gone.
It's great that the Motor Vu will stay. I have good memories of it. It used to have a small merry-go-round, swings and little airplanes. I remember them back in the 1960s. I've been wondering why the Motor Vu doesn't advertise their movies more.
It seems it will stay where it is now, and I back up the Coleman family's efforts to keep our good drive-in memories there.
