OGDEN -- Two individuals have been arrested in connection to a drive-by shooting Thursday night.
Officers responded to a "shots fired" call near 27th Street and Madison Avenue, where it appeared someone had fired on a parked car in the road.
At 27th Street and Jefferson Avenue, around 10 p.m., police observed a suspicious vehicle and attempted to pull it over. It instead fled and led police on a brief chase, Ogden Police Lt. Chad Ledford said.
The vehicle eventually came to a stop at the 1000 South block of 26th Street, and one suspect exited the car and fled. The officer stayed with the vehicle and detained the two remaining suspects, one of whom was later released.
Police soon found the fleeing suspect, a 16-year-old, and, after a short foot chase, arrested him. A gun was recovered.
There were no known injuries from the shooting.
The incident is still under investigation. All three individuals are gang members, Ledford said, but it is unknown if the incident was gang-related.
