Macy Shay Maxfield and David James Farmer were united in marriage on Aug. 24 in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Mount Timpanogos Temple. A celebration luncheon was held in their honor at the Blue Lemon Cafe in Highland.
The bride is the daughter of Gerald and Shelly Maxfield of Syracuse. Parents of the bridegroom are John and Diana Farmer of Kirkland, Wash.
The bride chose Brittany Hoggan, Madison Maxfield, Clarin Maxfield, Johnna Franks, Audrey Long and Julia Farmer as her bridesmaids. Mike Hoggan, Ryan Guptill, Andrew Wilcox, Jacob Wilcox, Cory Hill and J Farmer were groomsmen.
A full-time student at Brigham Young University, Idaho, in Rexburg, and majoring in biology, she also earned a dental assistant certificate at the Davis Applied Technology College in Kaysville. She is employed at Madison Pediatric Dentistry as a dental assistant in Rexburg.
He served in the Arizona Tucson LDS Mission and attends BYU-Idaho as a full-time student, majoring in exercise physiology and is employed on campus by BYU-Idaho.
The new couple will live in Rexburg, Idaho, to finish school after a honeymoon in Cancun, Mexico.
