MURRAY -- Residents are mopping up after a water-main break sent water into several Murray houses.
Murray Fire Department spokesman Russ Groves says flood water reached garages or basements of four houses, but only two houses saw any lasting damage.
The 12-inch water main broke Sunday afternoon. Dozens of neighbors acted quickly to dam and dike the water. Surveillance cameras caught the action on video.
Some neighbors say the water rose to knee-level in basements.
Crews shut off the water and dug up a busted section of water main.
