LAYTON -- City Hall here is getting a bit of a facelift.
Construction crews have initiated work in front of the city building to improve the entrance to the structure. The work involves building a new handicap-access ramp to the north of the building and replacing the concrete and guard rails in front of the municipal building.
Equipment is being installed to heat and keep the concrete in front of the building free of snow and ice during the winter season.
City Manager Alex Jensen said costs for the project, estimated at $45,000-46,000, are included in the 2013-2014 fiscal year budget.
