Leon B. and Donna Tullis Bitton of Pleasant View celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with a family dinner held at the Maddox Ranch House Restaurant.
High school sweethearts at Weber High School, they were married on Aug. 19, 1933, in North Ogden. Their vows were later solemnized in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Logan Temple.
He was born in Ogden on April 17, 1935, to Benjamin and Hannah Toone Bitton. He was raised in West Weber, where he and his wife spent most of their married years.
He retired from the Union Pacific Railroad. He enjoys gardening, church service, and spending time with family and grandkids.
She was born in Ogden on Dec. 23, 1933, to David and Eveline Tullis. She worked at Utah Tailor Mills in Ogden and then stayed home to raise the children. She enjoys sewing and crafts, travel, church callings, and spending time with kids and grandkids.
Their children and spouses are Tamie and Scott Kelsey, and Micah Bitton. They have five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
