FARR WEST -- Traffic was stalled Thursday evening on Interstate 15 in both directions when a semi-truck hauling boulders overturned.
Utah Highway Patrol Cpl. Todd Johnson said that around 6:15 p.m., near Mile Marker 346, a tire blew on a semi going north on I-15, causing the driver to lose control and hit the median barrier. The trailer of the semi flipped, sending boulders into southbound traffic. One vehicle hit a boulder, but no one was injured.
Traffic was slowed both ways for multiple hours while the wreckage and boulders were cleaned up, Johnson said.
