WOODS CROSS -- The Friday evening commute was backed up after a three-car accident on northbound Interstate 15.
Utah Highway Patrol trooper McCall Christensen said the accident happened around 9 p.m. when a vehicle headed north veered of the road to the right, then over-corrected, hitting a vehicle in the left lane. The vehicle that was hit flipped and landed upside down. As of Friday night, Christensen was unsure how the third car was involved.
No one was seriously hurt in the crash, Christensen said. An investigation into possible impairment of the driver of the car that caused the crash is ongoing.
Traffic was delayed on the interstate, Christensen said, with two northbound lanes closed until the accident was cleaned up.
