Roy versus Fremont:
Bonneville helmet run:
If Roy High fans thought their win over Weber High on Aug. 30 was an exciting conclusion, they were right, but it was only the beginning of the fantastic finishes.
Last Friday, Roy and Fremont battled back and forth all night long in Plain City. The host Silver Wolves, looking for their first victory of the 2013 season, seemed to have found it as they took a 12-7 lead on the Royals with 8 1/2 minutes to go.
As the game clock wound down, the Royals mounted a drive to just past midfield. On the final play, Roy quarterback Tyler Skidmore dropped back and lofted a pass toward the goal line. Several plays jumped to get the ball, pushing it into the air, and into the path of Roy's Justin Weaver, who grabbed the ball, sidestepped one defender and bulled into the end zone for the winning points.

Another Top of Utah game play has gone viral as well.
On opening night -- Aug. 23 -- Bonneville played at Viewmont. In the game, Lakers running back Bryan Burns takes the handoff, but a Vikings defender grabs his facemask and basically turned Burn's helmet around. The gutsy Bonneville tailback continued to run, trying to make the most of the play.
Thankfully, he was not injured on his sightless run.
