OGDEN -- A 64-year-old North Ogden man was taken to the hospital Wednesday after flipping his car on Interstate 15.
Utah Highway Patrol Sgt. John Ely said the accident happened around 4 p.m., when the man swerved to avoid part of a blown tire in the left lane of northbound I-15 near Mile Marker 341. After swerving, he overcorrected and hit the concrete median, riding on top of it for about 130 feet before the car flipped.
The man was taken to McKay-Dee Hospital with cuts on his face, Ely said. He was wearing a seat belt. No other vehicles were involved.
