The writers of the Sept. 8 guest commentary, Craig Rushforth and Vance C. Pace, are upset with the whining against Obama. The commentary, "Country's wrong direction not president's fault," is obfuscatory.
In applying facts to the issues, we need to examine the denial of the oil pipeline, the excessive monies put into green energy operations, which then went bankrupt, the effort to collect more private sector taxes, the attacking of corporations except those owned by unions, quantitative easing, which artificially inflates Wall Street's printing money to buy bonds (a reprise of the Weimer Republic), the economic burden of Obamacare, causing businesses to hold down capital investment and hiring, and the application of stimulus money only to unions or the public sector.
This leads to diminished employment and earnings as well as dampening of creative incentives and personal responsibilities.
The upshot is that the two writers typify the low-information voter disregarding the actual causes of our economic malaise.
