Thumbs up: To wrestling, which returns to the Olympics in the year 2020. It was always a bad call by the IOC to nix wrestling, and we are glad that that body has corrected its previous mistake.
Thumbs down: To urban legends about the new health care law. One that is very false is the rumor that the new law provides exemptions from Muslims to purchase insurance.
Thumbs up: To Ogden, which has shed its image as the murder capital of Utah. So far this year, Junction City has only had one suspected homicide.
Thumbs down: To persons who vote by mail and their not receiving "I Voted" stickers. Jennifer Morrell, Weber County elections officials, hopes that those who vote by mail can drop by the polls on election and get that sought-after sticker.
Thumbs up: To Roy youth, who are providing some TLC to their parks, trails and roads. In what's become a tradition, hundreds volunteered on the first Saturday of September to spruce up the city.
Thumbs down: To an attempt to pass counterfeit $20 bills at Lagoon. According to police, the suspect in the case tried to pass off some poorly designed fake bills to employees.
