PARK CITY -- Rocky Mountain Power officials say they're restored power after a lightning strike caused widespread outages in Summit, Wasatch and Salt Lake counties.

Utility spokeswoman Margaret Oler says the power went out a little after 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, and was restored about two hours later.

The outage affected about 36,000 customers in seven different ZIP codes, including Park City and Brighton.
