Brigham Young University and the University of Utah Monday announced the two schools have agreed to a home-and-home series for 2017 and 2018.
Under the new contract, the Cougars will play in Provo on Sept. 9, 2017 and in Salt Lake City on Nov. 24, 2018. With two games already under contract, BYU and Utah will now play four times in the next six years -- 2013, 2016, 2017 and 2018.
Since BYU officially began playing football in 1922, the Cougars and Utes have played 88 times. Utah holds the overall series record of 53-31-4.
