ST. GEORGE -- A Murray man has been sentenced to a year in jail after admitting to using his RV to run down a group of teenagers.
Nickolas Michael May was sentenced Tuesday, after pleading guilty in June to two counts of aggravated assault and one count of driving under influence.
May admitted in a plea agreement that he drove his motor home into a 16-year-old in a Wal-Mart parking lot in Washington City on May 23, 2012. He also acknowledged hitting a parked SUV near where the teens were standing.
May says he'd had 13 beers before the incident, and was hallucinating because he'd taken too much anti-seizure medication.
The teenagers told police they were talking in the parking lot when they saw May laughing and driving toward them.
