OGDEN -- Two people were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries Wednesday after rolling their sport utility vehicle on Interstate 15.
Utah Highway Patrol trooper Weston Mitton said the crash happened around 8:30 p.m. when the two people, a husband and wife, were driving southbound on I-15, near Mile Marker 342.
A 19-year-old woman driving a Volkswagen Jetta merged into their lane without checking her blind spot and crashed into the couple's Toyota Sequoia, causing it to roll two or three times.
The man, who suffered a head injury, and the woman, who had an arm injury, were taken to Ogden Regional Hospital, Weston said.
The woman driving the Jetta was unhurt but was cited for unsafe lane travel, Weston said.
