The King James Bible gives Christians the right to every herb, including marijuana. Genesis: 1:11,12: God brought forth herbs, stating, "God saw that it was good;"
Genesis: 1:29, "And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is Upon the face of the earth;" Genesis 1:31, "and God saw everything that he made, and behold, it was very good;" Psalms 104:14, and "herbs for the service of man;" Romans 14:2, "another, who is weak, eateth herbs;" Romans 14 is advice on judging one's herb use.
Hebrew 6:7, "For the earth which drinketh in the rain that cometh oft upon it, and bringeth forth herbs meet for them by whom it is dressed, receiveth blessing from God."
Christ states in Matthew 15:11, "Not that which goeth into the mouth defileth a man; but that which cometh out of the mouth, that defileth a man;" Matthew 15:13, "Every plant which my Heavenly Father hath not planted, shall be rooted up"
If any herbs were not allowed by God, God would say so in Leviticus chapter 11 or Deuteronomy, chapter 14.
Now, if we think any herbs are bad, then our argument is against God's word, Christ and their prophets. The war on drugs, is a war on people's souls, thoughts, feelings, individuality, creativity and freedom of religion.
Abraham Lincoln, American's 16th president, responded to prohibition in December, 1840, stating, "Prohibition goes beyond the bounds of reason in that it attempts to control a man's appetite by legislation, making a crime out of things that are not a crime...a prohibition law strikes a blow at the very principles on which our government was founded."
