SALT LAKE CITY -- Part of the World Trade Center will be displayed outside the Fort Douglas Military Museum on Friday as the first stop of a statewide tour.
The 5-by-5 feet piece of wall was among the rubble after the Sept. 11, 2011, terror attacks.
The wall will be displayed in Provo on Saturday and will go on to stops in about 20 stops around Utah through October.
It will then be permanently installed at the Fallen Warrior Memorial at the Fort Douglas Memorial Park, which is under construction.
The military museum is located on the University of Utah campus in Salt Lake City.
