Our loving son, brother, uncle, and friend, Chad Albert Reeves, 49, of Brigham City, passed away on September 19, 2013 at his home.
He was born on October 17, 1963 in Brigham City, Utah, a son of Parke L. and Cheryl Lysle Holmes Reeves.
Chad was reared and educated in Brigham City, graduating from Box Elder High School in 1981. He then graduated from Weber State University with a BS in Integrated Studies and a Master's Degree-Magna Cum Laude in Nursing Administration from Stevens Henager College. He was a professor, director and Associate Dean at Stevens Henager College for 15 years.
He served in the Peace Corps in the Dominican Republic and in Mzuzu, Malawi, Africa as a Registered Nurse Volunteer. He also continued serving in Mzuzu as a consultant with the University of Washington.
While in the Dominican Republic he met and married, Rosa Jimenez. They were later divorced.
He enjoyed golfing, fishing, watching sports, but most of all he like to help and touch lives of many.
Surviving are his mother,Cheryl Reeves; three siblings, Brent (Sherry) Reeves; Cory (Robin) Reeves; Wendy Reeves and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Parke Reeves.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 24, 2013 at 1 p.m. at Gillies Funeral Chapel, 634 East 200 South, Brigham City, Utah.
A viewing will be held on Tuesday at the funeral chapel from 11:30 to 12:30 p.m.
