OGDEN -- Two people walked away from an accident with only minor injuries after their truck flipped over on its top Tuesday afternoon, police said.
The rollover occurred near Weber State University, at 3850 S. Harrison Blvd., around 3:30 p.m.
A white Toyota Tacoma pulling a trailer with landscaping equipment was stopped at a red light, when a green pick-up truck failed to stop and rear-ended the trailer, Ogden Police Lt. Tim Scott said.
The white truck rolled over on its top while the trailer remained stationary.
A third car was involved after a piece of debris hit it and caused collateral damage, Scott said.
Both the driver and passenger of the rolled-over truck were pulled from the vehicle and treated on the scene for minor injuries, Scott said. The driver of the green truck was also treated on scene for minor injuries. The occupants of the truck were wearing seat belts.
Northbound traffic between 3950 South and 3850 South was temporarily rerouted through campus.
