Darrel and Joyce Dorigatti of Ogden celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with their children at the Brigham City Temple and dinner at the Maddox Ranch House Restaurant.
They were married on Sept. 18, 1953, in Franklin, Idaho. Their vows were later solemnized in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Logan Temple.
He was born Dec. 5, 1920, in Preston, Idaho, to August Dorigatti and Alice Creger. He served in the Army Signal Corps during the Korean War. He was employed by Thiokol for 25 years, retiring in 1991. He enjoys genealogy and four wheeling with family in Moab.
She was born Dec. 21, 1933 in Franklin, Idaho, to John Gregory and Olga Hull. She worked with the Ogden city school lunch program for 26 years. She enjoys quilting and has made quilts for all the grandchildren. She also enjoys spending time with the family.
They are active in the LDS Church and have held many positions. They served in the Ogden Temple for 15 years and served in the Australia Brisbane Mission.
Both are graduates of Preston High School.
Their children and spouses are Susan Stirland, St. George; Karen and David Anglesey, Ogden; James and Peggy Dorigatti, Vacaville, Calif.; and Joan and Jeff Vanderdoes, Uintah.
They have 12 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
