FARMINGTON -- Three men accused of wrecking two cars and attacking a man have entered not guilty pleas to charges.
Jaime Rojas Sanchez, 20; Jesus Velazquez-Zamor, 18; and Erick Moises Herrera, 18, appeared in 2nd District Court on Tuesday. They are each charged with first-degree felony robbery and third-degree felony assault. Court hearings have been set for Oct. 22 for each.
They are being held in Davis County Jail.
North Salt Lake police said the three assaulted a man Sept. 14 after they rolled a white Mercury on Interstate 15. The man had tried to help them, and they tried to stab him.
They then took his keys and wallet and wrecked his car, police said.
The three were found hiding in the weeds of the southbound Center Street off-ramp.
