Dean Edward Byram returned home, with his loving wife of 45 years and his grandson by his side, after a long illness.
He was born September 6, 1938, to Donald and Norma (Slater) Byram. Dean grew up in South Weber and graduated from Davis High School.
Dean is survived by his wife Rita (Perrenoud) Byram; one son Craig; three daughters Sandy and Scott Staub, Keri Jensen, and Deana and John Johnston; one stepdaughter, and one stepson, 21 grandchildren, and God only knows how many great-grandchildren. Also survived is his loving and faithful companion, Sonny.
He was proceeded in death by his parents, one brother, a daughter, and one grandson.
Cryptside services for Dean will be held at 11 am on Monday October 7, 2013 at Leavitt's Aultorest Mausoleum, 836 36th Street in Ogden. A viewing will be held from 9:45 to 10:45 am at Leavitt's Mortuary.
