Our Mother, Granny and Aunt, Leah Rae (Stephens) Burns, 68, of Roy, passed away Saturday, September 28, 2013.
She was born October 9, 1944, in Custer City, Oklahoma to Steve A. and Iona L. Lambertus Stephens.
She married Richard Elliott and they later divorced. She then married William H. Burns on December 18, 1976 in Van Alstyne, Texas. They later divorced. Her first marriage had three children; Bradley Elliott, Stephanie Fessel, and Tara Blakeley.
She lived in Texas and Utah, and graduated from Davis High School in 1962.
She was a member of the Baptist Church.
Leah worked at Texas Instruments from 1964-1994 and owned Rheas City Floral from 1994-1996 and retired from Autoliv in 2005.
Leah loved to spend time with her grandbabies, friends and family. She enjoyed bingo, cooking, and fishing. She had an amazing talent making wreaths, flower arrangements anything dealing with crafts. She loved driving through the mountains and going on adventures. She had the most giving heart.
Mom, I will miss you and I love you but most of all, Thank You.
Surviving are her children: Tara (James) Blakeley-Dorrough, Stephanie (Dennis) Fessel and Bradley Elliott, six grandchildren, Taylor (Mai) Elliott, Riggs Blakeley, Danielle (Josh) Vereze, Stephen Elliott, Andrew and Austin Allmond, great-grandchildren, Reia and Baby boy Elliott due in January, Georgia, Harper, Sophia, and Emma Vereze. Also surviving are siblings, Pam (Steve) Surganovich, Mike (Vicki) Stephens, Gary Stephens and Linda Jacobson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Steve A. and Iona L. Stephens.
