Donnell Norris Hartog of Ogden celebrated her 90th birthday on Friday, Oct. 4. She was honored with a family dinner.

She was born in Ogden on Oct. 4, 1923, to Charles Henry and Nell Robison Norris. She attended Ogden High School, graduating in 1941. She was president of the Beta Zeta Tau Social Club at Ogden High School. For the last few years, she was involved with organizing class reunions until their 69th reunion the summer of 2011. The class of 1941 donated money that helped in the restoration of Ogden High School.

She married James C. Hartog on July 10, 1942, and enjoyed 63 years together.

She worked at Shupe Williams Candy Co., L.R. Samuels and The Bon Marche as its alteration seamstress. She is a homemaker, and her interests are church activities at Trinity Presbyterian Church in Ogden. She and her husband enjoyed many vacations and camping trips together. They especially enjoyed the western deserts. She enjoys spending time with her family and seeing her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Her children and spouses are Karen and Art Pizzirani, Kennett, Pa.; Dale and Adrienne Hartog, West Point; Dr. Brent Hartog (deceased); Janet and Gaylen Chapman, Ogden; and Craig Hartog, Ogden.

She has 11 grandchildren (one deceased) and 17 great-grandchildren with one on the way.
