CORINNE - Connie Sushannah Morgan Craner 75, passed away in her home after a two year courageous battle with pancreatic cancer on October 5, 2013, surround by her loving husband and family.
Connie was born May 18, 1938 in Brigham City, Utah to Dorthea and Max Morgan.
She was raised in Brigham City, Utah and graduated from Box Elder High School in 1956.
She married her high school sweetheart, LeRoy Craner, on February 1, 1957 in the Logan LDS Temple.
They were blessed with four children and fostered an Indian placement son for 10 years whom she loved as her own.
Connie loved everyone.
She seemed to make friends wherever she went.
She also had a passion for serving and loving others and always put others before herself.
But above all, her family was her first priority.
She also found joy in raising and taking care of animals of every kind, especially her dogs and horses.
Connie loved music, camping, painting, and working side by side with her sweetheart on their farm.
She was employed at Bear River Animal Hospital and the Medical Arts Clinic.
Connie was an active member of the LDS Church and served in many organizations including, the Primary, Relief Society, and the Young Womens.
Connie and LeRoy also served as temple ordinance workers in the Ogden LDS Temple, missionaries at the Bishops Store House and as Stake Missionaries.
Connie is survived by her husband; LeRoy, children: Debra (Reese) Norman, Gordon (DeAnn) Craner, Cindy (Bruce) Hubbard, Traci (Shawn) Koplin, and foster son Robinson Chavez; 25 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren; three brothers: Deverell (Radene) Morgan, Harvey (Bonnie) Morgan, Blynn Morgan, sister-in-law Tamara (Bill) Bell, and brother-in-law Rulon Smoot.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Max and Dorthea Morgan; sister, Donna Smoot; son-in-law, Kent Taylor; mother and father-in-law Roy and June Craner.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 10, 2013 12 p.m. at the Corinne LDS Chapel, 2325 N. 4000 W., Corinne, UT.
Viewings will be held on Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Myers Mortuary, 205 S. 100 E., Brigham City, and on Thursday from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the Church.
Interment will be in the Brigham City Cemetery.
The family would like to thank the wonderful people at the Huntsman Cancer Institute for their love and dedication to her.
She dearly loved them.
