LAYTON -- People looking to join the cause during Cancer Awareness Month can donate money through the Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies at their weekend craft fair.
The VFW Layton Post will have its annual craft fair from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday through Saturday at 1389 N. Main St.
Sherry Howland, of the Ladies VFW, said the fundraiser brought in $1,300 last year, and they hope to bring in much more this year.
All funds from the fair will go to Primary Children's Hospital for cancer research, Howland said.
The craft fair will feature local vendors selling blankets, clothing and jewelry, as well as bigger businesses such as Mary Kay and Dish Network.
The Cancer Aid and Research program is one of the major programs supported locally and nationally by the VFW's Auxiliary members, according to a release.
