WEST VALLEY CITY -- West Valley City police say they're looking for four suspects after shots were fired at a newspaper deliveryman.

Police Sgt. Jason Hauer says the shooting happened a little after 6 a.m. Tuesday, while the deliveryman was outside his vehicle.

Hauer says an older model Honda Accord with a souped-up muffler stopped in the neighborhood, and four Hispanic males jumped out and started yelling.

The deliveryman says one of the suspects pulled out a gun and started firing at him. The man took cover behind his car and avoided the shots, which shattered one of his car windows and hit two other houses.

The suspects then drove off.

Nobody was hurt.

Hauer didn't know which newspaper the man, who's in his 30s, was delivering. It's unclear why the suspects targeted him.
