POCATELLO -- Idaho State Police say alcohol was a factor in a rollover accident involving an Ogden man.
A news release from the agency states that around 9:38 a.m. Saturday, Idaho police were called to a rollover crash on Interstate 84 near Mile Marker 222, just east of the I-84 and I-86 junction, west of Pocatello.
Joshua Sarris, 22, of Ogden, was driving west in a 2006 Subaru Impreza at a high rate of speed when he failed to negotiate a turn, the release said.
The vehicle rolled, went through a fence into a field and came to rest on the passenger side.
Sarris was wearing a seatbelt, and no other vehicles were involved.
Police were continuing their investigation.
