OGDEN -- A man was arrested for sexual abuse of a child after a nearly month-long search.
On Wednesday, Manuel Rafeal Lopez was booked into Weber County Jail for suspicion of aggravated sexual abuse of a child. Bail was set at $100,000.
The 58-year-old man was reported to have sexually abused multiple children of unknown ages, Ogden Police Lt. Danielle Croyle said.
A warrant from 2nd District Court in Ogden was issued for Lopez's arrest on Oc. 9, Croyle said.
He was reportedly staying in Arizona for the past month, until police received an anonymous tip that he had returned to Ogden, she said.
Police arrested him without incident, and the investigation is ongoing.
