OGDEN -- A man was taken to the hospital in critical condition after crashing his motorcycle around 2:40 p.m. Monday.
The 42-year-old man was riding eastbound on Brinker Avenue when he lost control of his motorcycle near 16th Street, Ogden Police Lt. Will Cragun said. No other vehicles were involved.
The man was thrown from the bike and hit the pavement. He was not wearing a helmet, Cragun said.
The victim was brought to McKay-Dee Hospital by ambulance in critical condition.
On Monday night, Cragun said the man was in very critical condition and on life support.
Investigators still are determining what made the rider lose control. Police are not releasing the man's name at this time.
